Winebar & Bites is looking for a Kitchen Assistant!
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team in all aspects. You'll assist with preparations and help with finishing and serving dishes. You'll learn all the intricacies of the job, potentially enabling you to work independently in the future. We expect you to be a team player who enjoys taking initiative. You can stay calm during busy times and work tactically. Additionally, you can work hygienically and carefully, and you appreciate a friendly atmosphere. Extensive experience is not necessary; we are happy to teach you everything about the kitchen, and with enough enthusiasm and motivation, there are plenty of opportunities for growth.
You'll work with various kitchen techniques and ensure everything is prepared for lunch and dinner. The mise-en-place needs to be prepared with care. During busy moments, you'll support the kitchen team in setting up, preparing, and finishing dishes. You will also help keep the workspace clean.
