Bij Petrus is looking for a Kitchen assistant
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen team in every aspect. You will assist with preparations and also help with finishing and serving dishes. You will learn all the nuances of the job to potentially work independently in the future.
We expect you to be a good team player and enjoy taking initiative. You should be able to stay calm during busy times and work tactically. Additionally, you should be able to work hygienically and carefully. A bit of camaraderie is also important. While extensive experience is not required, we are happy to teach you everything about the kitchen, and with enough enthusiasm and motivation, there are plenty of opportunities for growth.
You will work with various kitchen techniques and ensure that everything is ready for lunch and dinner. Mise-en-place needs to be prepared with care. During busy times, you will assist the kitchen team with setting up, preparing, and finishing dishes. You will also help keep the work environment clean.
