Junior Technical Advisor

What are you going to do?

Alongside your colleagues, you will be responsible for the technical foundation behind our advice. This includes calculations and data visualizations for regional energy strategies, as well as substantiating and explaining concrete gas-free options. You will create calculations, models, and dashboards in Excel and perform drawing work and data analysis using QGIS. Our work is for a variety of clients, including municipalities, network operators, heating companies, housing corporations, and residents. You will assist our advisory team in comparing gas-free alternatives and adjusting promising solutions for local situations.

What do we ask?

• A completed HBO/WO education (Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Energy Technology, Energy & Environmental Science, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or similar).
• Between 0-2 years of experience.
• Basic knowledge of gas-free solutions at the building and infrastructure level.
• Ability to translate data into simple visualizations.
• Enthusiastic with strong analytical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• A drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
• A commitment to keeping agreements.
• Preferred: Experience presenting content.
• Preferred: Strong skills in graphic representation.
• Preferred: Experience with GIS (for example, from an internship).
• Preferred: Previous experience in calculating or comparing energy systems, such as with VestaMais.
