What are you going to do?

As an environmental manager, you will create an environmental analysis and generate creative solutions in collaboration with stakeholders to minimize risks. You will ensure that environmental management is effectively executed, coordinate with the client, and ensure that all project tasks are carried out while considering all environmental factors. You will monitor and optimize processes, identify bottlenecks related to environmental factors, and solve them accordingly. You will prepare reports and build relationships. You will be the expert within Strukton who knows everything about environmental risks and how to manage them in collaboration with stakeholders.

In this role, it's essential to gather and evaluate information, conduct independent problem analysis, and develop new ideas and concepts from your creativity. You will also need to be highly sensitive, show empathy, and respond tactfully to feelings and needs. Environmental awareness is crucial in your role, and you will have a deep understanding of developments in the environment. You will exchange knowledge with others and be persistent in working towards your goal.

An essential aspect of your role is identifying bottlenecks, monitoring, and improving the process concerning environmental factors in tenders and execution. You will develop and implement interventions in each sub-environment and be able to improvise and anticipate changes. Timely, complete, and reliable reporting, as well as informing and advising stakeholders, are also part of your responsibilities.

You will proactively build relationships and maintain internal and external contacts on specialized topics to strengthen Strukton's position in the project by establishing and maintaining long-term collaborations.

What do we ask?

We seek a true team player, but it is equally important that you can work independently and proactively. You should also be assertive and eager to develop further. Furthermore, you should have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a role where you were primarily focused on communication.
  • Relevant knowledge of modern contract forms and specialized knowledge of tendering methods.
  • Relevant knowledge of laws and regulations regarding infrastructure-related permits.
  • Excellent communication skills and be a true team player.
