Wat ga je doen?
Develop reliable software solutions used by SGL and its clients.
Create new applications to improve SGL’s workflow and efficiency.
Identify technical limitations and build prototypes to test key design concepts in the field (occasional travel may be required).
Take ownership of all aspects of software engineering and product development.
Conduct in-depth analysis of end-user challenges and develop efficient solutions.
Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews to maintain software quality.
Wat vragen wij?
At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience in application development and cloud environments.
Preferred skills:
Strong knowledge of app development, front-end development (preferably for embedded devices), and cloud engineering.
Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts.
Expertise in software system design.
Familiarity with Flutter, Yocto, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with AWS production environments.
Knowledge of Embedded Linux and iOS/Android app development with Flutter is a plus.
Proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
Additional requirements:
Hands-on, pragmatic mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
Open and proactive communication style.
Ability to switch between independent work and teamwork seamlessly.
Willingness to provide on-call support in case of emergencies.
Our headquarters in Waddinxveen is not easily accessible by public transport. A driver’s license and car are therefore important.
You live in the Netherlands (Randstad region), or in Europe and are willing to move to the Netherlands.
Wat bieden wij?
The salary for this role will depend on your experience and project portfolio. For a medior position, we expect a range of approximately €4,500 to €5,500 per month (gross). However, for an exceptional fit, there is room for adjustment.

Bonus structure: The amount is determined based on your personal goals. A standard score of 7 corresponds to a 9% bonus, provided that the company objectives are met.
