Wat ga je doen?

  • DHL is driving an ambitious growth agenda, and as the leader of the HR team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business during this expansion amid challenging labor markets.
  • Ensuring the delivery of the HR EMEA strategy (to the business to directly contribute to the overall performance of the organization (permanent, flexible and contractors) and ensure outstanding employee experience.
  • You lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of managers to ensure that the organization's HR strategy is implemented effectively, consistently and according to established guidelines and budgets.
  • Providing strategic HR support to the country board and other members of the management team and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management level.
  • Negotiating collective bargaining agreement (CLA) and social plan with unions.
  • Lead & support consultations with national unions & works council to ensure positive agreements and compliance with labor laws and lead labor relations.
  • Advise and support in reorganization and restructuring processes.
  • You will lead the implementation of HR Cloud solutions for Netherlands and Belgium, contributing to the digital transformation efforts within the company.
  • Provide L&D solutions and support the diversity, communication and engagement agenda.
  • You are responsible for the overall year-end processes in the Benelux - both L&D and C&B.
  • You ensure consistent and timely HR metrics and reporting, and drive data analytics.

Wat vragen wij?

  • Our ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in various general HR roles, complemented by extensive senior-level experience in a service-oriented company in the Benelux region. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate academic-level thinking.

Additionally, you have:

  • A master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
  • Significant experience in managing and leading teams through expertise in various HR disciplines.
  • Excellent understanding of HR processes, systems & data and collaborate effectively with other functions.
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • An energetic and motivating personality, and you are a pragmatic leader.
  • Experience in a similar role within a logistics environment is a plus.
