NBC is looking for a Production Sous-Chef

What are you going to do?

You will be the right hand of our head chef Robbert and support him in developing creative and seasonal culinary offerings that exceed the expectations of our clients and guests. Together with your fellow sous-chefs, you will work on the following:

  • Monitoring the quality, presentation, and taste of the culinary offerings.
  • Inspiring the kitchen team to deliver consistent and high-quality dishes.
  • Before events, you will be responsible for the production of the lunch buffet and the culinary setup for various parties. During events, you will be in the spotlight.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. You will lead the team and actively contribute to the preparation of the culinary offerings, focusing on quality and efficiency.
  • Maintaining strict standards in hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization.

What do we ask?

  • Certified chef with at least 3 years of experience as a sous-chef.
  • Ability to work under pressure and excellent organizational skills.
  • Located within 30 minutes of Nieuwegein.
  • Highly skilled in communication (NL).
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Guest-oriented.
  • Flexible.
  • Proactive.
