As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

As an Account Manager PSS, you will report to the Sales Lead Benelux within Care Solutions, Patient Support Systems. Your keen understanding of our product portfolio and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy being on location, forming relationships, and establishing trust with the doctors and nurses who use Baxter Solutions daily.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the Patient Support Systems business (Focus Hospital beds and accessories) in key accounts and develop new business within designated accounts, including tendering, negotiations and contract management.
  • Achieve/exceeds targets for revenue and profitability.
  • Focus on profitability, revenue growth against the plan, maintaining costs and strategic company objectives.
  • Achieve the yearly Territory Business Plan in association with the Sales Lead Benelux.
  • Share market information and contract review information with contract managers.
  • Ensure the implementation of promotional/sales programs in conjunction with marketing communication, education, application and training.
  • Initiates trials, demos and sales in collaboration with the Clinical Advisor.

Wat vragen wij?

  • At least 5 years of commercial experience in Medical Device Sales with validated results.
  • Medical knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience in tendering.
  • Teammate.
  • Digital literacy with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to negotiate at the highest management levels with our customers.
  • Reliable. Self-management and organizational skills.
