Trento Engineering is looking for a Tooling Engineer

What are you going to do?

Your main tasks and responsibilities in this specific role include:

  • Designing tools, molds, and internal transport systems for the assembly and production process.
  • Checking the availability or replenishment of necessary tools and supplies.
  • Creating and detailing technical drawings, designing tools, and associated resources.
  • Establishing work methods and sequences and documenting them in work instructions.
  • Improving and modifying existing tools, molds, and internal transport systems.

What do we ask?

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A completed technical HBO (higher professional education) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
  • 0-5 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge of tooling used in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with business processes and quality control systems (ISO9001 and ISO14001).
  • Ability to design tooling in both 2D and 3D (Inventor).
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 1 hour one way.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for international projects.
