Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller within the Financial Control team, you will play a key role in setting up and executing the Planning & Control cycle (P&C cycle) for Strukton Rail. You will support management in making strategic financial decisions by preparing reports, analyses, and budgets. You will work closely with various business units, your team, and the project controllers.

• Prepare transparent reports for various stakeholders, such as the management of Strukton Rail, Strukton Group, and banks.
• Present financial reports to Businessline managers and provide financial analyses.
• Prepare and develop cash flow forecasts and budgets.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient solutions.
• Support management with strategic financial advice and develop initiatives for cost efficiency.
• Actively contribute to an ongoing improvement program within the financial department. You will oversee the progress, advise on process optimization, including the use of AI, automation, and data through PowerBI for better management decisions.

The team currently consists of 4 colleagues, and together you will ensure excellent results and streamlined processes.

What do we ask?

We are looking for a Financial Controller with strong analytical skills and the motivation to innovate the financial function. You have experience with financial processes in a larger organization and can drive changes within a dynamic working environment. Additionally, you should recognize yourself in the following traits:

• Minimum HBO+ work and thinking level, preferably in a financial direction such as Business Economics or Finance.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
• Experience with financial software such as Business Central, OneStream, Excel (advanced level), and PowerBI.
• Experience with process automation, such as robotics or AI applications, is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to report and present clearly at various levels within the organization.
• A proactive attitude toward improvement and innovation within the financial function.
