Assistant Manager

What are you going to do?

As an Assistant Manager, you will be the face of Woerden's one and only wine bar. From the floor, you ensure that guests lack nothing. You don’t just sense the atmosphere; you create it. You love conviviality and pass this on to both guests and team.

We expect you to take initiative, have a helicopter view, and pay attention to detail. You are a team player who takes responsibility. Additionally, you are sociable and ensure our guests have a pleasant stay. You are passionate about the job and radiate this on the work floor.

What Will You Do?

You will share responsibility for the quality and service in the wine bar. You know the team, the wines, and the guests inside out. The daily planning is always in order because you can adapt quickly. You take care of the team and evaluate weekly with colleagues and the owner about work processes, looking for innovations and improvements.

Additionally, your tasks include:

• Schedule planning
• Motivating and leading your team
• Managing purchasing, sales, and staffing figures
• Contributing to and executing the marketing strategy
• Overseeing reservations
• Collaborating on and tasting the wine assortment
• Addressing questions, comments, and complaints from guests and staff
