C# Developer

SilverFit

Will You Join Our Team?

  • Full-time

What are you going to do?

At SilverFit, we create software that helps older adults with rehabilitation through games, video, and music. This involves a lot of technology. As a SilverFit Developer, you will be the one making this possible. With an increasing number of products, sensors, and libraries, we are looking for a new developer to join our team to help manage, structure, and expand these interwoven codebases.

What you will do:

  • Work in a team of programmers, testers, UX designers, and artists.
  • Support our game developers by working on the integration with sensors and the user interface.

Plan and execute new technical projects such as:

  • Implementing a license management system for our products.
  • Merging and making the databases of our products compatible.

  • Build user interfaces in WPF (MVVM) that transform clinical outcomes into insightful graphs and tables.
  • Create driver libraries to connect sensors like 3D cameras, spirometers, and surface-EMG sensors to our software.
  • Actively work on restructuring, updating, and cleaning up our older codebases.
  • Develop libraries to process sensor data so it can be used in our games for stable game control.
  • Occasionally visit clients to test prototypes with our target audience.

What do we ask?

What you bring:

  • You enjoy tackling technical challenges in software design and software architecture and prefer working on 'low-level' or 'back-end' tasks.
  • You collaborate well in a team (we use a variant of Scrum at SilverFit) and are committed to working towards a goal or deadline, while keeping an eye on the bigger picture and maintaining project oversight.
  • You work precisely and thoughtfully for stable software and maintainable code; writing unit tests and creating testable code is a plus.
  • You prefer handling larger tasks in a structured and planned manner, balancing between pre-thinking and discussing with teammates and gaining new insights during programming.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Dutch and/or English.
  • Availability for 32-40 hours per week.
  • HBO/WO level of thinking and working.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a C# Developer.

What do we offer?

  • A challenging job where you can apply and further develop all your skills.
  • We work in Woerden, within walking distance of the station and with ample parking space.
  • A market-conforming gross monthly salary. The exact salary will be adjusted based on your educational background and experience.
