Wat ga je doen?

As an Engineer, you are responsible for creating cost-efficient designs, modifying existing drawings, and ensuring solutions in the drawings. In your role, you will manage 2 to 3 projects from A to Z. The goal is to adjust the drawings because construction is taking place on or over the cables that are already laid in the ground. Our Reconstructions department operates throughout the Netherlands. Your base is in Nieuwegein, where you will find around 20 colleagues. Redrawing or modifying a drawing as a Reconstruction Engineer sometimes comes with challenges that you need to find good solutions for. Therefore, you need to know how guided drilling works or how to cut a cable and lay a new one. You will also deal a lot with permits and research possibilities that might fit within the given frameworks.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

The role focuses on designing and maintaining telecommunications networks in the copper and fiber optic domains and making calculations for these tasks. You also provide technical support to office employees and project management. Administrative matters and commercial elements are involved. Within each project, the tasks are varied. You can set priorities well and are able to keep an overview of your work.

• Living in the Nieuwegein area, and available for 40 hours a week.
• You have a proactive attitude;
• You are eager to learn.

· Experience/ skills in at least two of the following areas :

• Civil technical knowledge/insight.
• Dutch language skills.
• General engineering skill (ACAD).
• o Glasfiber networks.
