What are you going to do?

As a Customer Contact Center Representative, you will be the first point of contact for both individuals and businesses. Your main responsibility is to answer questions in a friendly and professional manner, working as part of an enthusiastic team. The variety in your work ensures that no two days are the same.

Your tasks:

  • Answer a variety of calls from customers and prospects in the Netherlands. You won’t know in advance whether you'll speak with a private individual or a business, so you’ll interact with a wide range of people, and each customer query is a new challenge. You will dig into the question and look for the best possible solution.
  • In addition to phone calls, you will respond to questions via email, chat, or contact forms. Sometimes, it will be about a specific pest, and other times it will be a new job order. You will schedule appointments or pass the job along to one of the sales advisors.
  • The great thing is that you won’t be doing this alone; you’ll be part of an experienced team. Tasks are shared, and you can always consult with your colleagues when in doubt. Most of your colleagues have worked at Rentokil for years, because here, you are not just a number. Personal interaction is important, and your opinion matters. Every two years, we conduct an employee satisfaction survey, and we genuinely listen to the feedback. The high level of teamwork and the no-nonsense, informal culture will make you feel at home quickly.

What do we ask?

You enjoy interacting with different types of people. Customer friendliness is a top priority for you. You are a good listener, know how to ask the right questions, and think along with the person on the other end of the line. Additionally, you enjoy working in a friendly team.

What we require:

  • At least LBO+/MBO+ level of work and thinking.
  • Experience in a customer-focused role with administrative data processing.
  • Strong computer and system skills.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
  • Excellent communication skills and a pleasant phone voice.
  • A customer-oriented and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Team-oriented, accurate, and stress-resistant.
