Software Tester

Wat ga je doen?

At ViCentra, we are dedicated to improve the quality of life of people with diabetes. Our medical software, which is designed to manage insulin delivery, is thoroughly tested and verified to ensure accuracy and safety. The testing software communicates with our state-of-the-art insulin pump, Kaleido. We are looking for a Software Test Engineer who ensures our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proven experience in software testing, preferably in the medical device, healthcare, aviation, automotive or another safety critical industry.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
• Editing and expanding on existing test software which is designed to test the software written by our embedded C software developers
• Write automated test scripts in Python
• Collaborate with the development team to understand the functionality and performance of our insulin delivery software.
• Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Specialize in test automation to streamline testing processes.
• Continuously improve the testing framework and processes to enhance software quality.

Wat vragen wij?

• A degree that gives you the knowledge to turn complexity into a simple, premium user experience, (preferably a bachelor's degree)
• Proven track record in creating scalable solutions for complex challenges
• Experience in “productizing” services like training and troubleshooting
• Previous experience in the medical devices industry – or show that you’re able to master complex new environments soon
• Knowledge or interest in understanding everything about clinical and regulatory processes (MDD/MDR/FDA) and knowledge how to navigate this with a proven customer focus
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Even better: Previous experience working in a start-up/scale-up environment
