Transport Partner Manager

What are you going to do?

As a Transport Partner Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a nationwide partner network of transport companies that have zero-emission vehicle fleets. You will also handle calculations for transport pricing on both the purchasing and sales sides. The role involves traveling across the country and working closely with the operational director. This is a project assignment with the possibility of a permanent contract, depending on mutual satisfaction.

Tasks:

• Onboard carriers or parties with zero-emission vehicle fleets.
• Build and maintain the partner network.
• Work with partners to develop and implement sustainable transport solutions that align with the constantly changing market demand.
• Analyze transport costs and perform calculations to determine accurate transport pricing.
• Act as the point of contact for sales on commercial transport matters.
• Negotiate favorable terms with partners to optimize costs.
• Manage existing agreements and finalize new transport agreements with partners.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with sustainability and quality standards.
• Report to the operational director.
• Stay updated on market developments related to zero-emission transport.

Experience:

• HBO degree and/or experience in a relevant field such as transport logistics (road transport), preferably with a focus on sustainability and cost optimization.
• Experience in setting up a department or business unit.
• Experience in business negotiations.
