Toolmaker

What are you going to do?

Together with your colleagues in the toolmaking department, you will be responsible for:

• Creating molds, dies, drill/mill templates, and possibly repairing them.
• Producing new insert parts for molds according to drawings (Cad-Cam).
• Manufacturing new or replacement tools according to drawings and planning.
• Advising the foundry on the design of new and replacement tools.

What do we ask?

Important qualities:

• MBO (Intermediate Vocational Education) level of work and thinking, preferably supplemented with toolmaking or turning/milling training.
• Several years of experience as a CNC machinist/toolmaker.
• Ability to operate a lathe, milling machine, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine), and wire EDM (knowledge and experience with Heidenhain controls is a plus).
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and with discipline.
