What are you going to do?

As a Support Engineer, you are the man or woman who is the first point of contact for our partners and customers. You will help solve problems and lead the installation of our products and solutions.

You are the one who leads the way in terms of (technical) support for our partners and customers, both in a pre-sales and after-sales role. In this role, you will report to the Manager Professional Services.

Our products and solutions are mainly in the field of high electronics (hardware and software, also in combination with the cloud) in the many facets of energy transition. These include monitoring and managing solar panels, charging stations, heat pumps and combinations thereof. All this combined in an Energy Management System.

To support our strong growth, we are looking to further expand our Technical Support team.

  • General support and support of our products and solutions, being: 1ste line support (initial service contact with customer) and 2de line support (problem analysis/reproduction of reported problem)
  • Administrative handling of returns (RMA)
  • Perform service assignments (also onsite at customer premises) at existing and new clients (including: on-site fault condition analysis, commissioning/configuration of (new) Xemex solutions)
  • Providing (technical) training to partners and customers
  • Internal support to sales, production and logistics

What do we ask?

We are looking for a customer-oriented team player who combines commercial acumen with analytical accuracy, problem-solving skills and logical thinking. The ideal candidate shows pro activity, enthusiasm and likes to take initiative. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide constructive-critical feedback are essential. Stress resistance and the ability to deal with change will make you suitable for a dynamic and growing work environment.

Supplemented by the points below:

  • Preferably a completed technical Bachelor's or Master's degree (college level, electrical engineering)
  • And/or you already have some experience in a similar support role
  • But if you are looking for initial work experience, we are definitely open to that too (training through and at Xemex is also a possibility!)
  • You are open-minded and know how to deal with change and are able to work in a dynamic and growing company
  • You are communicatively strong and know how to substantiate your opinions. You are constructively critical and dare to give feedback
  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English
  • You are willing to travel, including between and to the Xemex locations in Rosmalen (Netherlands) and Antwerp (Belgium)
  • Furthermore, it is convenient that you live in the southern Netherlands
