What are you going to do?

You take your team to the next level and meet customer expectations. You do this by coaching your team members one-on-one and analyzing their performance. You optimize processes and discover bottlenecks. In addition, you provide work instructions and the further development of your team but also respond to ad hoc questions from our customer. You work in weekly alternating shifts, from 06:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 00:00. You are also willing to work weekends when necessary.

You will directly manage up to 20 Warehouse Operators for an entirely new process. As Team Leader, you will make these colleagues work even more efficiently because you:

  • Gain insight into which processes are going well and know where the bottlenecks are. You record the performance level of your colleagues and make sure they attend training courses.
  • Create reports and get results from the warehouse management system.
  • Ensure safety on our shop floor.
  • Discuss improvement proposals with the Operations Manager, Shift Manager and keep your fellow Team leaders informed.
  • Organize your team. This means that you:
  • Coaching your team members, taking into account their ambitions and developments.
  • Conduct assessment and performance reviews.
  • Conduct absence / reintegration - and other conversations.
  • Ensures proper staffing.
  • Planning training hours and keeping track of time registration and personnel mutations.

What do we ask?

If we summarize you in short, you are strong in your communication (also in English), strong in your shoes and stress resistant. With these great qualities, you are able to manage your team and bring out the best in them. You keep your head cool while managing your team and achieving your targets. You are a rational thinker and also have as Warehouse Team leader:

  • MBO+ or college working and thinking level.
  • At least three years of experience as a team leader, cooperating foreman or foreman.
  • Feeling with Microsoft Office programs (such as Excel and PowerPoint) and Warehouse management systems, so you can create reports and analyses.
  • Lots of energy and positivity to set up a new process.
